I tried /etc/X11/xinit as well as ~/.xinitrc, neither did work. But thanks anyway, Stanislav. Meanwhile I could solve my problem by putting the line /usr/bin/acme > /dev/null 2>&1 & into ~/.fluxbox/startup. ACME is a small tool from GNOME for using the multimedia keys with linux.
