gkrellm in slit

I would like to use gKrellm in the slit with fluxbox and SuSE 9.1. I 
would like some help? I need to switch between KDE and Fluxbox but 
haven't found the proper place to start gKrellm. I have tried the 
startfluxbox file but it does not start. I have used the xsession file 
and it seems to work ok in fluxbox there but does not work properly in 
KDE from there. I have used this line in each " exec gkrellm &" Since 
there is no slit in KDE I just start it and check the box asking to 
remember location. What would be the proper place to start it from?
