help with transient windows (so they respect ~/.fluxbox/apps)

hello,

what i sorely need is a way to force transient windows obey the apps
settings. the specific purpose is to get xmms running at certain
workspace number. as i was told xmms playlist and equalizer windows
are both transient so a patch is needed. could you please provide me
any more info on what/how to get this done?
