Hi ! I'm Philippe, and this is my 1st post on this list, that I've been reading for weeks. I'm using fluxbox as a rpm on a MDK 9.2 (kernel 2.4) on a 32Mg 233Mzh Pentium MMX. It rocks. This laptop just rocks (two tiny VAIO 505FX found litteraly in the trash w/ all accessories, yum). Now I'm in the process of configuring fluxbox, and I find it rather self-explanatory, as far as the ~/.fluxbox/init file is concerned. Now something has been bugging me ever since the begginning : I'm using the init file to launch two ATerm windows, one as user, the other as su root, prompting for a password at each boot. It works fine. But no matter what I try, I can't get the title of the said two windows to appear in the taskbar, only two blank buttons ! If I launch any other window, it's fine, it's title appears fine, but those first two (the most important ones!) keep hiding ! Does anybody know what gives ? Also, I can't get those two windows to position themselves by slightly overlapping, allowing for easy selection, no, they keep appearing one onto the other, at the same exact center of the screen. Is there a way where ALL the possible fluxbox init commands w/ ALL possible options are listed ? Or should I start to compile such a document ? Lastly, kudos to the devs of this baby. In my life, never a WM has done so much in so little memory. pX -- <--------------------- http://www.halluci.net ---------------------> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
