I'd be curious what operating > system and X version you're running. I have tried it with a fresh new profile and system styles, some of them work, some don't. If i put lucida font, it work fine. But i already noticed there was something strange on my linux box with my Xft fonts as some applications have access to some fonts and others don't .... I run a fedora core 5.
