I edit the configuration files by hand, this is an example
(~/.fluxbox/keys , of course):

Control Mod1 Left  :PrevWorkspace
Control Mod1 Right :NextWorkspace

With these couple of line, you move through the workspaces with
ctrl+alt+{left,right} arrows

You can use fbrun,install it, and add this line in your ~/.flubox/keys :
Mod1 F2 :ExecCommand /usr/bin/fbrun

Now with alt+F2 you can ran any application.
