strange windows view

hi to the list,
i am using debian testing for doing audio and i very much love fluxbox,
using it for about a year.
though, i found some strange behavior of fluxbox, some of the windows
are displayed without their "frame", so i cannot grab the frame in the
down-right-angle and "pull" the window bigger.
this behavior i have in qjackctl and synaptic.

because it is really not easy to explain with words, i ll attach two
screenshots, which you can open with `animate file.dmp` (comes from 
image magic).

if someone has an idea how to solve this problem, i would be very happy!

p.s. the hole issue was on my debian packaged fluxbox-v0.9.14 as well as 
it is  on the new fluxbox v1.0rc2 compiled from scratch.
