Well, you should still have all your styles, it's just that it's separating them into two sections now (or rather you CAN do that now if you wish - maybe you could before too, I don't know) - one in the /usr/local/fluxbox area for system styles and one in the /home/username/fluxbox area. What you have quoted above isn't the styles themselves, but looks more like the menu entry that tells how to put those two locations in the menu. > does somebody know where all the other styles "disappeared". See above. It's possible you are using the default menu or something like that. I'm not sure if this is the normal behaviour but for some reason or other I changed my ~.fluxbox/init file session.menuFile entry to read ~/.fluxbox/mymenu. Again, the wiki is a great place for this sort of info, as is the IRC channel. Check out this page: http://fluxbox-wiki.org/index.php/Fluxbox-wiki There are FAQS: http://fluxbox-wiki.org/index.php/Faqs et cetera - also on that page the IRC channel is discussed. >another question is that all the windows i open, they have a strange >square in the left top corner, whit the name of the application in it. >how do i get rid of this? Sounds like you're seeing tabs for the first time. You can find a way to turn them off in the menu. Running out of time here, but you should be able to find it easily enough by looking around the fluxbox menu, or the wiki.
