Autogrouping inconsistency

Greetings, I've just noticed that when a group of apps is specified in the "apps" file (using the [group] tag) a newly started app appears to autogroup to the first instance of that app started, regardless of workspace; when specified in the "groups" file, on the other hand, a newly started app will - as stated in the documentation - group to the last focused app *on the same workspace*. Running fluxbox 1.0rc2 on x86_64. Is there a "preferred" way to specify autogrouping? Is the "groups" file likely to be deprecated in the future? If "apps" is the way to go, then perhaps it would be nice to have an option to autogroup in either same-workspace or any-workspace mode. -- Lionel B ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
