maximization: not over tabs?

Hi all,

I'm using 1.0rc2, and I'd like to have an option to make maximization not push 
my tabs out of my screen. This is obviously only relevant with tabs which are 
NOT in the titlebar.

I seem to remember that the old fluxbox branch used to have an option for tabs 
not to maximize over. There is still a similar option for slit.

Or maybe there is in fact a way to do it and I just missed it?
