Some GNOME applets failing to load

Hi,

I am having a hard time trying to make some gnome applets load under
Fluxbox.

My ~/.xsession file contains:

...
fluxbox -log $HOME/logs/fluxbox &
wmpid=$!
...
pgrep gnome-settings > /dev/null || {
    /usr/libexec/gnome-settings-daemon &
}
gnome-panel &
...
fbsetbg -l
wait $wmpid

gnome-panel loads just fine (in fact, I have two instances running); if
I try to load WorkspaceSwitcher applet, it fails to load and this is
what appears on ~/.xsession-errors:

** (gnome-panel:2763): WARNING **: panel-applet-frame.c:1287: failed to load apple
t OAFIID:GNOME_WorkspaceSwitcherApplet:
Failed to resolve, or extend '!prefs_key=/apps/panel/applets/applet_37/prefs;backg
round=none:;orient=up;size=small;locked_down=false

Similar errors happen with WindowList applet:

** (gnome-panel:2763): WARNING **: panel-applet-frame.c:1287: failed to load apple
t OAFIID:GNOME_WindowListApplet:
Failed to resolve, or extend '!prefs_key=/apps/panel/applets/applet_38/prefs;backg
round=none:;orient=up;size=small;locked_down=false

Anyone knows how to workaround this? BTW: fluxbox is running on Fedora
6, and this is how it's configured:
