It is pretty annoying, and the weird thing is that it doesn't happen all the time. I develop Java applications, and during our tests, _sometimes_ modal dialogs "decide" to stay below other windows, and it's immediate parent gets iconified. This makes it almost impossible to reach the modal dialogs: clicking on the parent window "tab" on gnome's window list applet (yes, I use it with fluxbox) doesn't bring the window to the top right away (it appears comes to the top and quickly "disappears" again). Clicking the window tab and holding the mouse button down for a sec usually works. Really weird -- and really annoying. It happens with JDK 1.5.0_11, Fluxbox is 0.9.15.1, running on Ubuntu 6.10.
