this works for me:
[submenu] (backgrounds) {choose a background}
[wallpapers] (/home/sashko/_images/walpapers) {fbsetbg -c}
[end]
it gives me a submenu with the list of the files in ~/_images/walpapers
so I just click on any of these and becomes my wallpaper.
