I've stopped using xmms in favor to other media player a while ago,
however I still keep the following lines in my ~/.fluxbox/apps file

[app] (XMMS_Player)
   [Workspace]   {2}
   [Position]    (UPPERLEFT) {277 168}
   [Sticky]  {yes}
   [Close]   {yes}
[end]

it basically means that xmms runs on 2nd workspace, but [Sticky] flag
makes it visible on all of them. You can either edit that file manually
or just play with right-click menu on the window titlebar. Although, I
recall that xmms has no WM decorations by default, however it can be
changed in its preferences.

hope this helps
