fbrun strangeness

Hello, Some time ago something strange started happening with the fbrun application on my computer. I can not type any letter in the text field, just numbers and punctuation signs. If I scroll with the cursor I can bring some history records, I can edit them with Del and Backspace, move along the string with the cursor button. However, whenever I type any letters -- nothing appears in the text field and the cursor does not move. If I run the fbrun from terminal it does not give any output, so I have no idea what is wrong.
