fedora: Network Manager

Hi, do you guys use any Network Manager on fluxbox? I have heard that the Network Manager is designed for Gnome and it is buggy. Do you use Wicd (http://wicd.sourceforge.net) or something like that? I have wireless access (home) and a wired access (work) and are both static (I cannot use DHCP).
