wallpaper with gnome-settings-daemon at startup in VBox

Hello,

I have installed Debian Squeeze and Fluxbox on a virtual machine of
Virtual Box (under Win XP). I run gnome-settings-daemon in the startup
script .fluxbox/startup. Thus, the wallpaper set in Gnome and the
other settings are applied in my Fluxbox session.

But curiously, at the start of Fluxbox, the wallpaper is not drawn. I
have to resize the window of the virtual machine to force the refresh
of the virtual desktop and to display the wallpaper.

Is it a problem due to my Fluxbox settings, my Gnome settings, or Virtual Box?
