twm icon behavior in fluxbox

 Hi,

i am sorry if this is not exactly a fluxbox question, but it is the best
place i have to start.
First of all i am just starting to use fluxbox and REALLY like its
configurability.

Anyway, since i often have many applications running on my machine, i
was looking for iconify behavior such as provided by twm.
I.e. i do not want all the application be crowding a panel (as would be
the case if i were to use fbpanel). I would like to minimize the application
to a small icon (no pics or anything, hopefully just the application
name of the file opened) and be able to stick it anywhere i like to on
the desktop.

I was wondering if someone out there can give me some advice on how to
accomplish this? Is anyone else running something similar that works better.
Basically i am looking for a an easy way to manage MANY applications
without having to jump around 12 desktops.

thanks
matt
