baffling problem

I am running Fluxbox on Ubuntu Maverick...and today after making some minor changes (going from tint2 to the Fluxbox toolbar) the clock stopped showing on the tool bar!! Icons show up fine...but the clock is nowhere to be seen, and yes, it's in the init file. Any ideas on how to fix this.
