Is there any > change to have a keys-sequence to change toolbar placement? As suggested by Micheal Craft before, update your config file (with sed or awk or any text tool) and “use kill or killall to send SIGUSR1”. He never suggested that you kill your running Fluxbox process. You would only send a SIGUSR1 signal telling Fluxbox to reload its configuration. Just do: killall -USR1 fluxbox Once you have your script, you can call it with a key-sequence that you define in your “$HOME/.fluxbox/keys” file.
