I know how to set audio keys:

Open terminal
Run command: xev
* Press on key volume up
* Press on key volume down
* Press on key mute

and try to recognize them.


My volume control keys IDs are:
XF86AudioRaiseVolume
XF86AudioLowerVolume
XF86AudioMute


My ~/.fluxbox/keys file has these entries:
XF86AudioRaiseVolume :ExecCommand amixer set Master 5+
XF86AudioLowerVolume :ExecCommand amixer set Master 5-
XF86AudioMute :ExecCommand amixer set Master toggle


Reconfigure or Restart Fluxbox and then you should have them responding.
