fluxbox does not accept (my) user settings

My installation is razor-qt firestarter (siduction) and i try to change
it to use fluxbox only (i.e. without razorqt desktop) on a really old
laptop. So far, the installation feels snappy and basically it works
fine. But i've a problem with fluxbox: It seems to not accept any
editing/settings (either from fluxbare either by hand) in ~/.fluxbox/...
Although, as far as i can see, all points correctly to use that.

I use slim as login wm (not lightdm). When i changed to i always had the
problem that first was opened openbox as session (regardless of the
session settings in /etc/slim.conf) so i set in galternatives fluxbox as
primary session.

Now, in any case, i've the problem, although i followed the manual,
fluxbox does not consider *MY* settings in ~/.fluxbox. The output of
'fluxbox -i' says:
