I'm on lubuntu, so no gnome-session (I think). fbsetbg works fine once fluxbox starts, I've already written a shell script to change wallpapers and hooked it to the menu, so a hotkey should work to manually start it. It's no big deal, not a matter of function. thanks Antonio -- Tim tim at tee jay forty nine dot com or akwebsoft dot com http://www.akwebsoft.com, http://www.tj49.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dive into the World of Parallel Programming The Go Parallel Website, sponsored by Intel and developed in partnership with Slashdot Media, is your hub for all things parallel software development, from weekly thought leadership blogs to news, videos, case studies, tutorials and more.
