Attaching a window to slit

Hello, I am using a Virtual Keyboard called xvkbd, which has no auto-hide feature, and I wonder whether it is possible to set window type to "panel" in app configuration file in order to attach xvkbd to slit. Is there anything I can do to arbitrarily attache windows to slit?
