Xinerama with independent workspaces?

Ever since I've had a dual screen set up I've always opted for the separate X configuration over Xinerama for the benefit that I could switch workspaces individually. The big drawback was to lose the ability to drag windows across screens. Is there any configuration in fluxbox to have the best of both worlds?
