I will try them asap.

Just to inform anyone else, I've found that the package `alttab` (I'm on Debian
Testing right now) can do the Alt+Tab part decently.

I was happy with `phwmon.py`[0], it provided basically everything I was looking
for, but apparently it will not work with GTK3, so I was in the need
of something
similar. But I will check i3wm just in case.
