Not happening with my FVWM3 installation. I'm using the default right side panel config with specialized menu (xdg desktop plus edited default applications and popup file management for /home/<user>/Documents and all the subfolders of same. The config has a 2x2 virtual for four desktops. The only thing I noticed was that the right panel had to be moved further right on my 1600 x 900 panel which sits left of my 1280 x 1024 panel(it was acting like the left screen was only 1280 wide). I simply left clicked touched "Move" and then moved the right panel to the right screen edge. Everything else seems to work as expected. Basically the panel is now a movable object( yea) HTH ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ On Thu, 20 Feb 2020 18:53:43 -0500 Larry Piet <[email protected]> wrote: > I have been using fvwm-2.6.9 as my window manager on Gentoo Linux. > My favorite feature is the virtual desktops of which I use a 2x2 > configuration. > > After discovering the release of fvwm3, I downloaded, configured, > compiled, and installed fvwm3 the same way as I do for fvwm-2.6.9. > > When I started fvwm3 using the same config file as with fvwm-2.6.9 > there were no apparent problems.
