Re: FVWM: fvwm and casting from chrome

On Slackware 64 14.2 with multilib I have no problem getting the
"Cast.." to show.  I start my session with:

dbus-launch --exit-with-session /usr/bin/fvwm

Perhaps you simply don't have dbus interacting with fvwm.
