Recently I went from a 1600x1200 monitor to a 3840x2160 monitor.

Fvwm was the least of my problems.

Just go into your config and choose larger fonts.
Search for the string "font" and substitute something larger.
Here are the 4 lines I ended up changing:

*FvwmIdent: Font "xft:Mono:bold:antialias=True:pixelsize=24"
MenuStyle "*" Font "xft:FreeSans:bold:antialias=False:pixelsize=22"
Style "*" Font "xft:FreeSans:bold:antialias=False:pixelsize=24"
Style "*" IconFont "xft:FreeSans:bold:antialias=True:pixelsize=20"

I also used the FvwmForm dialog to get FvwmForm to use larger fonts.
You won't find FvwmForm in fvwm3.  :(

An old config should work pretty well.
Mine was born in 1996 and is pretty much the same as it was then,
except that I changed to a more modern font syntax a pretty long time
ago.
