Summary: setting MenuIconSize doesn't work

I try to set the value 32 to the setting MenuIconSize, they stay always small. I think they keep a size of 16 comparing to my older config with icewm 1.2. I have also tried other sizes but nothing change.

Unfortunately I'm having the same issue. Running the latest version of
testing. The only way to increase the menu icon size is using the
SmallIconSize variable. I don't entirely understand why this was closed.
However thanks for a great WM :)

Perhaps MenuIconSize is overrided by theme settings. Where you set this
variable. Last time I cheched this, its worked as espected (in
.icewm/prefoverride). icewm-1.2.30

I make this setting in /usr/share/icewm/preferences. I use icedesert theme
which doesn't override this setting. I have also tried in
/usr/share/icewm/prefoverride and in ~/.icewm/prefoverride. It seems that
the icon size use the SmallIconSize setting. If I change SmallIconSize
setting, the icon size changes. This problem occurs only with the version
1.3

Where are you making this setting, in ~/.icewm/preferences or
~/.icewm/prefoverride ? IIRC themes can specify these icon sizes thus, in
order to make changes, you need to specify the MenuIconSize in
~/.icewm/prefoverride and (possibly) restart icewm in order to see the
change.
