How close window with short cut Alt+F4? (in vnc, from mac to linux)

I use realvnc viewer on mac to access my vnc session on unbuntu.
Alt+F4 doen't do anything in the vnc window. I want to close windows
in vnc window with a shortcut. Could you please let know how to do so?
