icewm 1.3.x on AIX 5.3

Hi

try to compile 1.3.x (up until 7) for AIX 5.3

Has anybody been able to fulfill this successfully? What are the minimum software dependencies?
I've already installed:
gcc-4.2.0-3.aix5.3.ppc.rpm
gcc-cplusplus-4.2.0-3.aix5.3.ppc.rpm
gettext-0.10.40-8.aix5.2.ppc.rpm
libgcc-4.2.0-3.aix5.3.ppc.rpm
libstdcplusplus-4.2.0-3.aix5.3.ppc.rpm
libstdcplusplus-devel-4.2.0-3.aix5.3.ppc.rpm
pkg-config

configured with: --disable-i18n --disable-xfreetype --enable-corefonts --disable-xinerama

The problem is: no *.o-files are being created under src

Therefore my "make" goes down with:
make: 1254-002 Cannot find a rule to create target ymsgbox.o from dependencies.
Stop.
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 2.
