Any way to Programmatically change to specific work areas?

  I have 11 work areas to keep things straight (web forums, personal
projects, etc, etc).  I like hibernation, because it restores every
thing.  What I dread is a real reboot when updating a kernel, or
whatever.  Then I have to go and re-start a whole bunch of spreadsheets
and browsers.

  Yes, I've read http://www.icewm.org/FAQ/IceWM-FAQ-6.html#ss6.4  It
doesn't help.  It can start *DIFFERENT PROGRAMS* in different
workspaces, but it's useless for *MULTIPLE INSTANCES* of the same
program.  E.g. I want...

/usr/bin/seamonkey -new-instance -P google
/usr/bin/seamonkey -new-instance -P graphs
/usr/bin/seamonkey -new-instance -P snow
/usr/bin/seamonkey -new-instance -P youtube

to show up, one each in 4 different workspaces.  And also stuff like...

/usr/bin/gnumeric foo.gnumeric
/usr/bin/gnumeric bar.gnumeric

to show up in 2 different workspaces.  Any ideas?
