ion3 eyecandy - gnome-dock

Hi all,
although I'm a long-time fan of ion now and using it since ion2, this is
my first post to the mailing list!

I know the whole eyecandy stuff is against the fundamental idea of ion
but I love as well ion as eyecandy..
Well, ok, I'm not talking about fancy window moving effects or
semi-transparent windows or something like that,
but I need at least one eyecandy and, I have to admit, I like OS X and
Aqua ;) At least parts of it.

One part I really like is that cool dock application.
Now I've spent my last night looking for a clone of that app - and I
found one.

It's called gnome-dock, you can find it at http://www.gnome-dock.org/,
and it looks really great.. In gnome :-(
In ion it's not really nice, it's surrounded by a large black border,
making the actual window being 3-4 times larger than the panel itself ;)

I now would really like to know whether there is any way to integrate it
into ion.. That would be amazing.
