Sounds interesting.  Do you have any pointers that explain the make
bug or can you briefly explain it?  Googling for this issue turned up
only pages (such as
http://developers.sun.com/solaris/articles/parallel_make.html) telling
me, if parallel make fails, the Makefile is wrong
