Can I have the root menu always open in the center of the screen?

I'm using Openbox 3.5.2.

With

    <keybind key="W-space">
      <action name="ShowMenu">
        <menu>root-menu</menu>
      </action>
    </keybind>

I can have the root menu appear but it appears where the mouse cursor
happens to be even if the cursor is in a focused window.

Is it possible to have the root menu always appear in the center of the
screen?

(I'm currently using xdotool in a script to do a "mousemove" and "click 3"
to always open root menu in a fixed position but that position has to be in
a blank area of the desktop.)
