I believe the original author is no longer interested.
I wouldn't call this an active project, even though as
an application it's really good.

Having said that, I am often tempted to start looking at the
qvwm code.

In particular, I would like to replace using the
.qvwmrc file which contains menus and icons, etc, with
code which adheres to the freedesktop standards.  That
way, you install some software on your system, and the
icons and menu options will automatically be updated for
everyone:
