[qvwm-e:00311] ESound

I'm running qvwm-1.1.12-2 on a RedHat 7.2  system.    X app xmms is playing
sounds fine, the same sounds in the SoundPath variable in the system.qvwmrc
file.   My problem is that qvwm is not playing in sounds defined in the
theme.   (SystemStartSound = "chimes.wav")    The system.qvwmrc file has
EnableSound = True and EnableEsd = True.   Any ideas on what we have setup
wrong?
