nvidia clobbers the meta-key?

greetings! i have recently begun using the nvidia graphics driver, and find that the ratpoison meta-key (both the original C-t and when i re-map it to Super-L) no longer functions. has anyone else seen a problem with nvidia and ratpoison, and is there a workaround? thanks -- cheers! -- .pltk.
