Active group per screen

Greetings,

I've been using ratpoison on a dual screen setup at work for the past
few months.  The only issue I still have is that I can't find a way to
define an active group per screen.  I could probably run two instances
of ratpoison and give up the ability to move windows between the two,
but I'd much rather be able to just define one active group per screen
so that windows stay on that screen unless I explicitly select that
group elsewhere.

Do any patches exist that implement this ability?  I've searched the
mailing list back a year or so and not found anything.

Another alternative would be for me to attempt to script this behavior,
but it would be more of a dirty hack imo.

Any other advice?
