restarting ratpoison and restoring rpws state

hi.  is there a way of restarting ratpoison that preserves the rpws
group structure (i.e., puts all the frames back into the correct groups,
etc.)?  i guess rpws stores most of the frame information in rp groups,
and i don't see anyway of dumping that information.  thanks.
