Hello again, I have tried the new ratpoison on my office set up. This consists of two large monitors, one in portrait and one in landscape: ,---- | Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 3120 x 1920, maximum 8192 x 8192 | DVI-I-1 connected primary 1920x1200+1200+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 518mm x 324mm | 1920x1200 60.0*+ | 1600x1200 60.0 | 1680x1050 59.9 | 1280x1024 60.0 | 1280x960 60.0 | 1024x768 60.0 | 800x600 60.3 | 640x480 60.0 | 720x400 70.1 | DVI-I-2 connected 1200x1920+0+0 left (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 518mm x 324mm | 1920x1200 60.0*+ | 1600x1200 60.0 | 1680x1050 59.9 | 1280x1024 60.0 | 1280x960 60.0 | 1024x768 60.0 | 800x600 60.3 | 640x480 60.0 | 720x400 70.1 `---- with an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290 graphics card. Although there are two monitors, and I am not specifying xinerama, ratpoison is treating the two monitors are one screen. This doesn't work well at all for me. I don't have any configuration for Xorg, letting it default everything. The graphics driver is nouveau. I hope this feedback is useful. thanks, eric -- : Eric S Fraga, GnuPG: 0xFFFCF67D : in Emacs 24.3.50.2 + Ma Gnus v0.10 + evil 1.0-dev : BBDB version 3.0.50 (2014-01-08 21:30:17 -0600)
