Re: running scripts on a schedule

You do have to use the browse button to locate the script that you want to schedule.  Also, I have always had to assign a valid user name and password when I schedule a script.  Furthermore, when I schedule scripts on a server that will access network resources, I have had to use the domain administrator's user name and password.

Hi Kevin, Thanks for your response but unfortunately, that's exactly 
  where I'm seeing the problem: inside Windows Task Scheduler...
  
  You see, the first error I get is when Windows Task Scheduler 
  doesn't see the AutoIT folder (it only sees 'AutoIT Window Info'). I 
  know the 'AutoIT3' folder is there, because I can run my script fine 
  at bootup - I can also find it no problem using browse - it's only 
  inside WTS that I run into problems. So I go ahead and use the 
  browse feature of WTS & find the script I want to run. The next 
  error I get is where WTS tells me I must have a User Name & 
  Password. Well, I don't have a UN & PW setup on this machine - could 
  this be causing the trouble? Must I setup a UN & PW in order to use 
  WTS? I've tried to simply assign a UN & PW in WTS, but that doesn't 
  seem to do the trick either. I then proceed to the point where WTS 
  says: "You have sucessfully scheduled the following task: Mbus". I 
  then click next and get this error: "The new task has been created, 
  but may not run because the account information could not be set. 
  The specific error is: 0x800700005 access is denied. Try using the 
  Task page Browse button to locate the application". When I proceed 
  to ignore this error the script never runs. So it seems to me that 
  WTS is not seeing the AutoIT script that I KNOW is there because it 
  runs fine from Windows Startup! Any clue what's going on?
