One important addition:
To mark the Mozilla ActiveX as safe control use the following
mozactivex.reg file:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{1339B54C-3453-11D2-93B9-000000000000}
\Implemented Categories]
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{1339B54C-3453-11D2-93B9-000000000000}
\Implemented Categories\{7DD95801-9882-11CF-9FA9-00AA006C42C4}]
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{1339B54C-3453-11D2-93B9-000000000000}

Read about XUL/E - XUL Explorer here:
http://starkravingfinkle.org/blog/2006/12/xule-what-if/
Thus you can write AutoIt script that has embedded IE that has
embedded safe Mozilla ActiveX that support XUL rich clients (XUL/E
Samples from link above).
