Well if your doubt was to confirm the flow of layered WinCE drivers then
you are right
the flow is app->MDD->PDD-> hardware
But at the same time I would like to remind you that this is not the
only way to do so ..You can very well use monolithic architecture for
designing the display driver ( which generally is the case) .
in that case
app -> driver -> hardware
These are usually used in the performance critical situations...
