Hi, Just for the record: I solved this problem. I used "exec cgi" instead. Even with that the exe file cannot be run. However, one can write a bat file as a wrapper to the exe file and then in the registry create an entry for .bat files to be run using "cmd.exe /c "%1"", where cmd.exe is some sort of command shell. Hope this helps others who might encounter similar problems.
