TAR for CE 5.0?

Does anyone know where I can find TAR binaries that run under CE 5.0?
Or source code that's been ported to CE 5.0?
Specifically, I'm looking for binaries to run on a XSCALE processor 
and the STANDARD_SDK emulator that comes with eVC 4.0.
I'm new to embedded development, so if my question makes no sense or 
I'm not providing enough information in my question, please tell me.
