I've heard that vs2005 screws up the complication of dll hell even
worse than vs2003 did (and this applies to the crt):

Even thought the text talks about C++, this seems to apply even to the
plain C runtime library msvcr80.dll.

I don't know what this specifically means for evc, but I will
stick with evc4 and vc6 as long as possible.
