Primary Skills

1.Product development experience in Embedded Networking (TCP/IP, L2/L3 protocols etc.) and communication, Routing and Switching, Wireless LAN, and Telecom based product development (VoIP, ATM, Switch, Router etc.)

2.Experience in any RTOS / Linux: VxWorks / Tornado development platform experience is preferable

3.Good C++ / C programming, data structure and design skills 

Secondary Skills

1.H.323 Protocol Stacks:
   
Experience in H.323 Stack (H225 / RAS / Q.931 / H.245) & H.324m Stack
Experience in developing H.323 VoIP endpoints, Gatekeepers/MCU/Gateway products, VoIP 3G Mobile devices
Experience in VoIP Algorithms and Audio/Video compression standards.

2.SIP Protocol stacks:

1.SIP/SIP-T, SDP, RTP, RTCP, RTSP.
2.Prior product development experience in SIP IP Phones, Proxy servers, Redirect servers, Application servers.
3.Knowledge in SIP extensions, SIP Presence, SIP based messaging is mandatory.

3.Soft switches/Signaling and Media Gateways:

1.Experience in Q.921 / Q.931 Stack (ISDN Standard) and Supplementary services
2.Experience in VoATM, VoFR, VoCable, VoDSL
3.Basic telecommunication network and familiarity with existing POTS standards 
Experience in working in MGC, MG, Signaling Gateway, Session controllers, Soft switch products.
