Apache error message

I know that there has been some discussion about the "file
.\http_main.c, line 5374, assertion 'job' failed" error message but I
was not able to find a solution.

I am running the HPC ARM port of Apache on a Jornada 720. Very basic
html pages load perfectly but the problem is when there are more than
3 or 4 images on the page.

When I view the page from a remote computer (desktop) the page loads
(except 1 or 2 images) but apacheCE throws the "file .\http_main.c,
line 5374, assertion 'job' failed" message and closes.

But if I view the same page with PocketIE on the Jornada, everything
works perfectly with no errors at all! 

I have looked at the source a little but I really can not figure out
what would cause it to work with PIE and not with my desktop.

I'd appreciate any help!
